English is an important subject and remains the only compulsory one which all students studying the HSC Australian curriculum need to succeed in. Whether you or your child is a reluctant reader, writer or an aspiring novelist, we can prescribe a needs-based English tuition plan.
At Kirribilli Tutor, our tutoring complements schoolwork and follows the Australian curriculum to maintain areas of strength while improving areas of weakness in the subject.
English Tuition lessons are available for students who need help with schoolwork, homework, writing skills, preparation for assessments, exams, IELTS and learning support. Our English tutors specialise in all areas of English.
Mathematics
K-6 | 7-10 | Prelim & HSC 2U, 3U, 4U
Maths is a subject causing common concern for both parents and students. Unlike other subjects, falling behind even slightly often proves critical, especially when the fundamental building blocks are missed or not fully developed.
Without resolving these issues early, students are left without a solution leading up to the imminent exam time. Mathematics is so much more than just a subject at school, it's a human endeavour, it is what helops us understand the world around us. The more we know, the more we want to know using logical, reasoning to satisfy our curiosity.

Sciences

Science is one of the core 3 subjects which we at Kirribilli Tutor offer personalised tuition in. We offer Physics, Chemistry and Biology for Prelim/HSC.
We aim to assist and guide our students gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all topics from the Science Syllabus as well as key science skills prescribed by the NSW Board of Studies.
We aspire to teach our students and equip them with the Science skills that are not in their textbook, so they can harbour and develop the necessary skills to solve unfamiliar and challenging Science questions.
Social Sciences
K-6 | 7-10 | Prelim | HSC
We have tutors specialising in the social sciences, such as in Economics, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Ancient and Modern History.
Students focus on a strong basis of writing, content understanding, comprehension, study techniques, essay implementation of ideas, short and long answer responses and working with the syllabus to cover all content.
We also provide support for student who need help clarifying assessment criteria for assignments, exams and school assessment tasks. Students are welcome to work on case studies that apply the theory of the subject to assessments.
